Hair Trend: Fun Up-dos

Emma Stone has been sizzling on the red carpet recently while promoting films, The Help and Crazy, Stupid, Love (Ryan Gosling <3) and her hair-do from last night's premiere of The Help inspired me to talk about this noteworthy trend of messy, fun up-dos!

The key to achieving this look is randomness - there is nothing precise to the 'do. It's kind of gives the of the idea that "I just kind of threw it together and it looks fabulous", which I love!  To dress it up Emma even added a little jeweled clip on the side, which adds that little thing that makes this look so special.

Whether Silver or Gold or beads from head to toe, nothing says Look at me more than a metallic dress for evening. Metallics are perfect for a fun night out or a special occasion such as a birthday - they give that pizazz that will put the rest of your wardrobe to shame -  and as a plus there are minimal accessories required! :)

This weeks Beauty Spotlight is shone directly on Friends with Benefits star Mila Kunis. The Russian beauty and former That 70s Show star lights up the big screen this month along with co-star Justin Timberlake in the romantic comedy - and if you see the film you will understand that no matter how hot JT is, it's hard to keep your eyes off of Miss Kunis who is unbelievably gorgeous and just exudes exotic beauty. *Keep your eyes on her shoes in the film too, they are to die for!* Hehehe :)

The British Bombshell and Victoria's Secret Angel has earned herself the lead female role in Transformers 3: The Dark of the Moon which opened this week and from her photo it is certainly easy to see why Miss Whiteley makes the perfect leading lady.

4. Bangles

I don't know about you, but when I was little I collected pretty rocks and geodes... I know, weird right? Spotted: Blake Lively with Red Hair?

The Gossip Girl bombshell has decided to change her lust-worthy golden locks to a strawberry blonde hue for her new role in the film Hick directed by Derick Martini. Blake told the press that she thought her character needed red hair. So how does she like it? "I love it", she gushed - "I feel like Ariel". Well then Blake on behalf of myself and fellow red heads I say welcome to the club!

Hair Trend: Bird's Nest Hair Bun

A look taken from the Chanel pre-Fall 2011 show (pictured below) - the bird's nest bun has been seen everywhere recently from the catwalk to the red capet to the supermarket? Eh, well maybe not there. The look certainly differs from that of the typical ballerina knot but CAUTION! - Only wear this look with confidence, it is quite the attention grabber.
