Calling All True Blood Fans!

Team Bill? or Team Eric? OR How about just team Sookie? Have you ever wanted to look like your favorite character from your favorite TV show? Well if True Blood is your favorite show the my dears you are in luck.

Tarte has recently produced a limited edition makeup line called Tarte for True Blood so you can vamp up your look or emulate your favorite characters. Personally, I love Jessica, I think that Deborah Woll is just gorgeous so yeah I wouldn't mind looking like her.

Now, unfortunately I have yet to try any of these products but they seem amazing. Amongst the products released there is a cheek stain and a lip stain, both a red color - to give that vamped up look. Also, there is an entire palette with 17 eye shadows (17!!!), a gel eyeliner, an eye primer and a mascara, not to mention the case is so cool!

Products available at Sephora.com!

What do you think, will you try  the new Tarte for True Blood collection?

Nail Trend: The Two-Tone Funky Manicure

Looking to spice up your regular manicures, then look no further! There is a new trend cropping up everywhere and it is the two-tone manicure. I am not really sure who, what or why this trend has popped up, but ever since I took notice of it  -  I see it everywhere. Fellow fashionista Whitney Port has been wearing this look for a while now and she has really helped propel it into a full on trend.

So what is a two- toned manicure you ask? It is honestly so simple, pick your two favorite color combos (purple and aqua, gold and coral, white and silver... etc), then paint your nails as usual, but skip one or two on each hand to be your "stand out" nails and paint those nails the color other than the one you already used.

Here is my first attempt at this look :)

Here are some more pics:

Pics from Whitney's Blog!!!

The lovely Whitney Port at the CFDA Awards wore gold and dark purple :)

Everyone's favorite PLL, Ashley Benson wore navy and coral in a recent episode!

So what do you think, will you try this new trend?

Don't forget to Comment Below and send pics if you try out this look :)

Troian Bellisario, one of the breakout stars of ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars wore the dress in a recent photo spread, but House star Olivia Wilde was spotted in the same frock on the cover of Flare Magazine. Both gals looked absolutely stunning, but what do you think? Who wore it better?

Hair Trend: The Fishtail Braid

A not so new trend, but still going strong, especially for the summer time. When I think of summer I think of easy, relaxed, and simple, something that the fishtail braid evokes - effortless glamour. You can quickly do a loose braid for the daytime or a more cleaned up version for a night out, but regardless of how you wear it, the fishtail braid is a do!

It has been seen on the runway :)

Charlie's latest angel, Minka Kelly worked the plait at a recent event!

Blake rocked the fishtail braid in an unusual way to the L.A. Green Lantern Premiere -  and I must say I love it!

Who Wore it Better? Marchesa Mini Dress

Decisions, Decisions... not only did two lovely ladies rock the hot pink Marchesa mini, but Georgina Chapman, the head of the Marchesa line wore the frock as well. As if choosing wasn't hard enough already, this may be a little tougher than usual. What do you think? Who wore the  dress the best; was it Demi? Blake? or Georgina?

Found this on Tumblr - Just had to post it :)

Copycat: Beyonce - Why Don't You Love Me

For all of you who don't know I completely love Beyonce, and her music videos never disappoint. In one of her more recent videos for "Why Don't You Love Me", Lady B is "BB Homemaker", her take on the "typical" 50's housewife, and her makeup is amazing. Take a look!

I attempted to recreate one of my favorite looks in the video, but my camera quality isn't great, it looked better in person believe me - but anyway, here is the look.

If anyone as questions about what I did or what products were used to achieve this look comment below!!! :)

Hair Trend: The Hair Knot

Okay girls, so this summer knotted hair is in! Okay I'm not talking about having your hair tangled and unkempt, I mean literally tying your hair into a knot. Made popular after appearing in the S/S 2011 Michael Kors show, the hair knot is the perfect messy but chic 'do for the summer.

With it being so hot outside already, who really feels like styling their hair with more heat?! Not me! That's why this look works perfectly for summer. It's simple, pretty and a little undone - so no obsessing over looking perfect, it's not meant to.

Curious as to how this works? Well here are a few instructions:

1. First, spritz the hair with some sort of surf spray like Bumble and Bumble or add some waves with Garnier's Surf Hair putty.

2. Scrunch the hair with product in it to create pretty, fresh from the beach waves. Blow dry only if necessary.

3.Sweep hair to the side to create a deep side part.

4. Seperate your hair in two, and pull the sections to the back of your neck. Tie a knot with your hair, and then tie another one if you want to create a double knot like the one shown here. Then Voila! - yes it really is that easy.

Who Wore it Better? Jenny Packham Gown

Well unless you have been living under a rock recently, you know that Kate Middleton married her long time beau Prince William, earning her place as both British and fashion royalty. The couple made a public appearance this week for the 10th annual Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) gala and Catherine (Kate), Duchess of Cambridge stunned in her full length Jenny Packham gown - Ahh, but Miss Middleton was not the only "it" girl to be spotted in the dress as of late.

Fellow fashionista Leighton Meester wore the gown in a recent season 4 episode of the hit show Gossip Girl, and in true Blair Waldorf fashion she dressed to impress. Personally, I think that this may be too hard to decide.

Who do you think wore it better? Was it truly a gown fit for a royal or will it be the Upper East Side for the win? Comment Below!!!

Urban Bride

CALLING ALL WEDDING PARTIES!!! Need the perfect gift to give your bridesmaids? OR perhaps you are the bride and need the makeup essentials so you can look flawless on your big day? Regardless of the reasoning, I highly recommend the new Urban Decay Urban Bride limited edition gift set.

The set contains five travel sized versions of some of their best selling products, including their famous Primer Potion ( a personal favorite of mine!), Razor Sharp Ultra Definition Powder, Lip Junkie Lip Gloss in Midnight Cowboy, Supercurl Curling Mascara, All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray (something I desperately want to try), and Marshmallow Sparkling Lick-able Body Powder for a little honey moon fun ;)

This gift set is obviously aimed at brides, but bride or not this kit is perfect if you are traveling or just wanna try out these products but are weary of buying full sized items. The box itself is beautiful, making this the perfect gift for your bridesmaids or maybe just a little self indulgence... after all it is your big day.

Candice Swanepoel is one of the most popular of the Victoria's Secret models and from this pic it is easy to see why. She always looks fabulous and sunkissed - everything the angels exude constantly.

1. Hammered Gold Pieces

Whether it's a bold necklace or chunky bracelet this summer is all about gold, probably because it goes really great with a tan - but I mean really don't we all want to feel like golden goddesses?

Dying to Try (June)

Okay so I don't know if I am the only one who does this, but I am such a planner and am constantly making lists and wish lists are no exception. If I come across something online or in magazines I will bookmark it or write it down and do a little research to see if it is worth buying or not and this month this is what made the cut :)

YSL Volupte Sheer Candy Lipstick

The newest addition to the Yves Saint Laurent collection, these new products are said to tint and moisturize all in one. What more could a girl ask for?

Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray

Said to be the key to Sexy, Sun-dried, Windswept hair, this salt water based spray is the key to hair (un)dressing this summer.

Kerastase Bain Volumactive Shampoo

This shampoo contains volumizing polymers that physically thicken each strand of hair, making it stronger and fuller from roots to tips. As a favorite of celebs and hairdressers alike, sounds like it's worth a shot.

Victoria's Secret Beach Sexy Self Tanner

Because every girl should feel Beach Sexy all summer (and year) long. This gradual tanner moisturizes and adds a subtle tint of color and smells so good!

If anyone has tried any of the products and would like to share their thoughts, comment below :)
